Welcome
Welcome to Future Plans - where you can keep up to date on the latest news about our emerging plans.
Passionate About Tottenham
• We are passionate about Tottenham. We've been here for over 126 years - it's where we play our football, where we work in the community and where we want to stay.
- We are already the Borough's top visitor attraction, with around 1m visitors a year, and one of the largest employers, pumping many millions of pounds into the local economy and via business rates.
• We are a core part of the community and through the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation we directly touch the lives of tens of thousands of people of all ages and abilities in Haringey and across North London.
- The Foundation has received over £4.5m funding from the Club and runs a range of specialist programmes tackling key social issues, for example improving achievement in education, building community cohesion, promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting people with disabilities.
- The Foundation has also attracted more than £2m of additional funding to the Borough for its projects, allowing it to have even greater reach and impact.
• We are designing a world-class scheme and are committed to making this happen. We have already invested heavily, spending over £50m to date, buying land and working with leading architects and other consultants.
"We believe that this scheme has the potential to create a truly inspirational environment for the Club and the Community - as well as acting as a catalyst for the uplift of the wider area."
Daniel Levy, Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club
Scheme Progress
We have spent the past few months further developing our plans, adding new elements, responding to feedback and evolving the scheme to the plans we are presenting.
- Exceptional Public Space - We have now developed a clear vision for the public space in front of the Stadium, which will act as a focus for events and activities and a true public square for community use on the High Road.
- A New Hotel - We have now incorporated a high quality hotel, with a restaurant, into the plans. On the ground floor a new café linked to the Club Shop will open out into the public square. These will add vibrancy and activity to the area as well as further strengthening regeneration and employment benefits.
- Maximising Stadium Atmosphere - In order to deliver a first-class spectator experience, we have re-designed the internal layout of the stadium to ensure that everyone sits as close as possible to the pitch. Stadium capacity will be 58,000 and we believe these changes will ensure we retain the unique atmosphere we are so proud of at Spurs.
- Improved Transport Options - We have had extensive discussions with the transport operators and Transport for London and have developed a clear and workable transport plan.
- Fewer Homes - We have reduced the proposed number of homes from 500 down to 450 so that these buildings sit well within the site, offering a choice of high quality apartments from 1 and 2 bedroom flats to those with 3 and 4 bedrooms for families, with private outside space.
