2023 London Games
NFL comes to N17 as the 2023 London Games touchdown on Tottenham Hotspur Stadium’s ground-breaking, purpose-built NFL pitch.
The Buffalo Bills will face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, 8 October, and one week later the Tennessee Titans take on the Baltimore Ravens on 15 October.
First of its kind
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the first purpose-built NFL stadium outside of the US and is proud to host a minimum of two Games per year over a 10-year partnership.
It features dedicated locker rooms for players, officials and cheerleaders as well as its own broadcast, media and medical facilities. An artificial field underneath our revolutionary retractable grass pitch means the NFL also has its own playing surface.
More than 120,000 spectators came through the gates over back-to-back weekends in 2019 and 2022.
Many of the activations enjoyed by fans in and around the stadium on Gamedays are delivered by local people as NFL embraces the community of Tottenham.
Through staging major events such as NFL, Tottenham is becoming a new sports and leisure destination for London, contributing to an estimated investment of circa £300m into the local economy every year.
Expanded Partnership
Tottenham Hotspur and the National Football League (NFL) have announced the expansion of their partnership through the 2029 - 2030 NFL season. As part of the agreement, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be given official status as the Home of the NFL in the UK.
Under terms of the expanded partnership, a minimum of two regular season NFL games a year will continue to be played at the world-class, multi-use stadium - the only stadium purpose-built for NFL games outside of the US, with bespoke facilities including its own playing surface, locker rooms and media areas.
The first-of-its-kind partnership has already delivered a series of unforgettable games in front of sold-out crowds in Tottenham, with 12 of the league’s 32 teams having already experienced the stadium. Two games are set to be played there during the 2023 NFL London Games in October.
