Traineeships are a pathway into paid employment where participants gain work experience, new skills, qualifications, and a reference. This is combined with one-to-one advice and guidance to help trainees consider different options, progress on to an apprenticeship or apply for a new job.

The traineeship programme is supported by local employers and training providers including Mitre Group, b2b Engage and PeoplePlus. They give our participants the opportunity to gain work experience and learn vocational skills.

This 12 week programme for young people offers:

Work experience on our community programmes and with local employers

Training in Sports Coaching

Vocational qualifications in Customer Service and Employability Skills

Volunteering experience on our Match Day Kiosk

If you are aged between 16 and 24, unemployed or working less than 16 hours per week, not on a full-time college course, and do not have a Level 3 qualification, then you can apply for a traineeship.

For more information and to apply, contact Mathijs Leenhouts at or call 07557 651 281
