Progress with Spurs
All you need to know about our Evening Programmes
Our Evening courses take place during school term-times and are designed with the aim for all players to progress through the development levels, using coaching methods from our Academy.
Our development syllabus has been created by our Global Football Development and Academy coaches. Like all of our programmes, Evening Courses apply our Tottenham Hotspur technical DNA to create a player development framework, tailored to produce the right environment for learning in an after-school setting, across all ability levels.
We provide a safe, secure and exceptional learning environment on and off the pitch which:
- Creates trust
- Protects self-esteem
- Allows players to play without fear of failure or criticism
- Encourages players to be independent, take risks and think creatively
Our team of coaches will focus on grouping football players within three specific session types to promote progression and individual development:
Stage 1: Development
Stage 2: Progression
Stage 3: Advanced
Sessions will include; goal scoring, defending, possession and 1v1 domination. Each session is themed around a specific element of the game and our FA and UEFA-qualified coaches use inspiration from our current First Team and Academy to help develop the young football players on our programmes.
Our elite team of coaches will monitor each football player individually to ensure they train with football players of similar abilities and ages, with the aim to progress every football player through the ability levels.
