New City College, Epping Forest Campus
NCC Education and Tottenham Hotspur Football Development Centre
The Club will be delivering a Football Development Programme in collaboration with New City College, Epping Forest Campus who will be offering an educational qualification for students aged between 16 and 19 who are studying for their Sport Level 2 and 3 BTECs.
Our Global Football Development team will work to bring authentic coaching methods developed within the Club’s Academy, designed to help students reach their full potential. As part of the programme, the coaches will monitor each player individually, giving them the opportunity to learn and develop their skills so they can play attacking football with the flair, fluidity and passion that are the hallmarks of the Club.
All educational qualifications associated with the course will come from New City College.
Additionally, students will benefit from a new base and home ground, Harlow Town Football Club. This is a fantastic development which will enhance the quality of the programme even further. All training and matches will take place at Harlow Town Football Club where players will have access to a full size all-weather pitch, a technical training zone and tactics room. Students/players train at the facility up to three times per week, (subject to individual timetables and Maths/English lesson requirements) with weekly matches held at the venue every Wednesday throughout the season.
New Nike training wear and matchday kits are given to all students who have enrolled and have 100% attendance to both lessons and training – and they are also transported by the College to the training grounds.
