Higher Education Programmes

Are you looking to kick-start a career? Alongside our college partners, we are delighted to be hosting a special event at our iconic, world-famous stadium.

Our Higher Education programme is for students aged 18+ that are ready to study at Level 4 or Level 5. Our unique Coaching Science Qualification is aimed at those specifically looking at working in the sports coaching industry. The education is provided by specialised tutors from New City College and supported by Tottenham Hotspur Coaching staff and mentors to provide hands-on and industry-specific knowledge to support their learning. Through practical-based learning to supplement the units of work students will enhance their knowledge and understanding of a range of topics that support coaching. This also provides the learners with actual experience and behind the scenes insight into the professional football club and the professional staff that work within it. This provides the best possible opportunities and insight for future employment either with Tottenham Hotspur or other coaching companies.

Where is the Higher Education programme?

- New City College – Havering 6th Form Campus

Potential progression routes

- Employment at Tottenham Hotspur
- Progression onto a 1-year top-up degree at several universities to achieve a BA/BSc Honours.
- Progression onto a teaching qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training)
- Employment in the sport & active leisure industry.

A flexible model that gives each learner the choice to stay and develop for as long as they want to get the qualification they desire (unlike university where you may need to commit to full three year term).

Study options
Year 1 (HNC Level 4)
Year 2 (HND Level 5)
Year 3 (full degree, with an NCC partner University)

This event will provide you with information about all programmes and will explain how you apply. Staff from the Higher Education college will be on hand to answer any questions and explain their educational packages, courses, and progression routes.
