Florida Elite was recently awarded two National Awards for USL League Two. This is the highest level of football within 300 miles of the club.

Our Youth Club partner were chosen as the Fans' Choice Club of the Year and the New Franchise of the Year for 2019 at the award ceremony which took place December 2019.

Our Head of Global Football Development, Andy Rogers, said 'An outstanding achievement from an outstanding club, we are incredibly proud of our partnership and what has been achieved. Florida Elite are changing the landscape of soccer in the US and we are excited to be a part of their continued journey’

Our partnership with Florida Elite will help train multiple elite teams, while overseeing player development using renowned coaching methods developed within the Tottenham Hotspur Academy. Florida Elite players will also have the chance to visit London and train at our world-class Training Centre, Hotspur Way.

Visit to Hotspur Way

Football scholars from Florida Elite’s Soccer Academy have been given a series of exclusive training sessions at Hotspur Way by our Global Football Development coaches as part of their pre-season preparations.

Our U23 squad dropped into one of their training sessions to meet the young players, who are some of the best footballers from the east coast of America. The U23’s spoke to them about their journey to becoming a professional footballer and shared their experience of playing for Tottenham Hotspur and training at our world-class facilities every day.

During their visit, the American scholars were given a tour of the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium, attended our opening Premier League fixture against Aston Villa, played a match against our U13 Academy team and were treated to a trip to St George’s Park – the FA’s national football centre and home of England’s football team.

Since partnering with Tottenham Hotspur in April 2018, we have been really impressed with their coaching philosophies and have seen a real improvement in our youth players technical abilities and mental attitudes.
