Former Birmingham City forward Rachel Williams joined us in July, 2020, and made 14 appearances in all competitions during her first season with us, scoring in a 3-2 Vitality Women's FA Cup tie at Reading in April, 2021.
Rachel had two spells with the Blues from 2011 and 2017, where she made 94 appearances and scored 43 goals, including a goal in the 2012 Women’s FA Cup final which saw City overcome Chelsea in a penalty shoot-out to win the trophy.
She began her career at home-town club Leicester City where she progressed through their centre of excellence to reach the senior team, before spending two years at Doncaster Rovers Belles in 2008.
She re-signed for Leicester City two years later and also had a spell at Chelsea in 2014 before moving to Notts County the following year.
At international level, Rachel has 13 caps for England and represented Great Britain in the 2012 London Olympics.
