Former Birmingham City captain Kerys Harrop joined us in July, 2020.
The defender spent 20 years with the Blues overall, making her senior debut at 15 years old after progressing through their centre of excellence.
She was part of the Blues’ side who finished runners-up in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League for two consecutive seasons in 2011 and then again in 2012, the year in which they won the Women’s FA Cup.
With 135 WSL appearances prior to joining us, Kerys is one of the most experienced players in the league and appeared 10 times for Birmingham in all competitions during 2019/20, including six league starts.
She played 15 times in the WSL for us in 2020/21, scoring in a 3-1 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion in December, 2020, and added a further three appearances in the cup competitions.
Kerys has represented the England national team at Under-19 level, winning the European Women’s Under-19 Championship in 2009, as well as at Under-23 level and was called up to the senior squad in 2013.
