Born: 15 June 1994 (Heesch, Netherlands)
Striker Vincent Janssen joined us from AZ Alkmaar in July, 2016.
After one substitute appearance against Chelsea at the beginning of 2017-18 - his second campaign at Spurs - he joined Fenerbahçe on loan for the season in the Turkish Super Lig.
An ankle injury caused him to miss a significant amount of action in the middle of that campaign and he ended up with five goals in 18 appearances to his name, including a substitute appearance in a Turkish Cup Final defeat to Akhisarspor.
A Netherlands international, Vincent made his senior debut with Almere City in the second tier of Dutch football, scoring 32 goals in 74 appearances during a two-year spell, before sealing a move to AZ in the summer of 2015.
In his one season at AZ, he was the top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie with 27 goals in 34 league appearances, helping his side secure a top four finish.
His performances also earned him the 2016 Johan Cruyff Trophy, awarded to the Eredivisie's young player of the year, which has previously been won by Rafael van der Vaart and Christian Eriksen.
His debut campaign for us saw him start seven times in the Premier League and come off the bench on a further 20 occasions, scoring a penalty at home to Leicester in October, 2016, and a late effort against Bournemouth in April, 2017.
He scored two goals in three appearances in the FA Cup, two in two in the EFL Cup (both penalties), made five appearances in the Champions League and one additional substitute outing in the Europa League.
Vincent made his Netherlands debut in March, 2016, and scored against England in a 2-1 win at Wembley in his second game for his national side.
