Harry Kane is looking for the perfect end to a productive week when we take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday (4.30pm).

A fine display against Newcastle unluckily only reaped one point in a 1-1 draw last Sunday and we’ve since beaten Chelsea to progress to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday and put seven past Maccabi Haifa on Thursday to reach the group stage of the Europa League.

Harry grabbed his 12th hat-trick for Spurs against the Israeli side to make it six goals for the season, 194 for the Club, and he’s well aware of the importance of a clash against a ‘top six’ rival in the Premier League.

“These are the games you need to win, especially early in the season to build a bit of momentum,” said Harry. “It’s been a good couple of days, and it would be great to finish the week off strong.

“We’ve dropped a few points in the Premier League so far. I thought we were unlucky against Newcastle, but it is what it is, and we need to dust ourselves off and go again.

“Any game before an international break is always good to win. Obviously, it will be tough away to United, but we’re more than capable of doing it, so we have to recover well, get as much as we can and look forward to that game.”

Sunday’s encounter at Old Trafford draws to a close our unprecedented start to the season with eight games in 22 days. As Harry alludes to, a number of players will then join their national teams - he is in the England squad for matches against Wales (8 October), Belgium (11 October) and Denmark (14 October), all at Wembley.

Meanwhile, Harry has been shortlisted for the Premier League’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month award for September.
