Spurs v Wolves - travel update

Travel information for fans attending our Premier League match against Wolves at the new stadium on Sunday (2pm).

As recently advised, Sunday’s match (2pm) is affected by extensive engineering works on the East Coast Mainline, affecting routes into London.

There is no service between London’s King’s Cross/St Pancras and Letchworth Garden City and Biggleswade, nor between Moorgate and Stevenage via Hertford North/Welwyn Garden City. Supporters are urged not to attempt to travel on these routes.

Regional Coach Service provider Big Green Coach have added the following locations to their network to help affected supporters travel to the match: Biggleswade, Huntingdon, Sandy and St Neots.

Additional rail disruption

Abellio Greater Anglia services have no access to Stratford due to engineering works so all trains will run via Liverpool Street. No trains will run from and to Stratford via Northumberland Park before or after the match.

Supporters travelling from East London and Essex are advised to travel to Liverpool Street before making their onward journey. Eight trains an hour will run between Liverpool Street and Northumberland Park pre and post-match.

Engineering works related to Crossrail are restricting access to the Ilford depot, meaning some Overground trains will run in four-car formations. This will predominantly affect Cheshunt services. Services to and from Liverpool Street will run eight car trains for two hours pre and one hour post-match. Enfield Town services will run four trains per hour compared to the non-matchday service of two per hour.

Supporters travelling to Liverpool Street post-match are advised to use Northumberland Park, while those using the Victoria line may find it quicker to walk to Seven Sisters than queue at White Hart Lane.

London Underground

There are no scheduled engineering works affecting the Tottenham area this weekend.

TfL Buses

The 149 service has now joined the 259, 279 and 349 services on the shorter eastern diversion route around the High Road matchday closure. This should improve the availability of services, particularly to Seven Sisters post-match.

Shuttle Buses

Because of the engineering works affecting the East Coast Mainline, the shuttle service from Alexandra Palace station (Great Northern line) will not be in operation. The service from Wood Green station (Piccadilly line) will operate as normal.
