Aston Villa v Spurs – how to watch, team news, key information
Sunday evening sees us face Aston Villa for the first time since February last year in what is our last outing before the international break (7.30pm UK).
The postponement of this fixture earlier in the season means we haven’t faced Dean Smith’s side since that memorable trip to Villa Park 13 months ago, where Heung-Min Son bagged a last-gasp winner.
Here’s all the key information you need to know ahead of the match...
How can I watch the game?
Sunday’s match will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main event, kick-off 7.30pm.
Live radio commentary will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Full worldwide broadcast listings are available here.
Remember, you can also follow the game on Club channels via our live Match Centre, complete with live text and audio commentary, goal alerts and stats. The Match Centre is available on the Spurs Official app and here on tottenhamhotspur.com with updates beginning from 90 minutes before kick-off.
Alternatively, head over to twitch.tv/tottenhamhotspur from 6.30pm UK for our official Watchalong.
How will the teams line up?
Erik Lamela will miss Sunday’s match through suspension after being sent off against Arsenal last weekend.
Heung-Min Son is an injury doubt after being forced off early in the same game, but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is available again after a one-match ban in Europe caused him to miss Thursday’s defeat at Dinamo Zagreb.
Aston Villa boss Dean Smith will wait until Sunday morning to make a final decision on whether Jack Grealish is fit to return from a shin injury.
Bertrand Traore should be available despite a blow to his ribs last week.
Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?
Mike Dean is the referee on Sunday, assisted by Darren Cann and Mark Scholes.
Robert Jones will be the fourth official.
We’ll be in our home kit, with our goalkeeper in orange.
Villa will play in claret and blue shirts, white shorts and blue socks. Their goalkeeper’s kit is all green with yellow trim.
What will the weather be like?
It’s forecast to be cloudy with light winds at Villa Park on Sunday evening, with temperatures around seven degrees.
