Ella Toone cleverly gave England the lead in the 36th minute at a packed Stadium Australia, but Sam Kerr found an equaliser in style, smashing the ball into the top left corner in the 63rd minute.
The Lionesses responded quickly, however, Lauren Hemp providing a smart finish with just under 20 minutes to go to restore England’s lead.
Alessia Russo made sure of the win with a clinical strike into the bottom left corner on the counter-attack. Bethany was an unused substitute on the night.
England will face Spain in the World Cup Final at 11am (UK) on Sunday (20 August), after they beat Sweden 2-1 in Tuesday's Semi-Final.
