We face Bournemouth in the Premier League at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday (3pm kick-off).
Ahead of the match, here are the game’s key points of note…
1 - Last meeting: Late drama at the Vitality
In our last league encounter with Bournemouth back in October, we staged a superb second-half comeback to recover from two goals down to win 3-2 thanks to substitute Rodrigo Bentancur’s stoppage-time winner. Strikes either side of the break from Kieffer Moore put the hosts in control before Ryan Sessegnon and Ben Davies brought us level with 17 minutes to play. We showed more hunger and desire in the closing stages and were rewarded when Rodrigo reacted quickest in the six-yard box to smash home for three points.

2 - Another close encounter
We won by the same 3-2 margin the last time we hosted Bournemouth in the league at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In November, 2019, two goals from Dele Alli and a Moussa Sissoko volley put us three goals ahead with 20 minutes to play before Bournemouth staged a late comeback with Harry Wilson scoring twice, but we held on for the win.

3 - Stoppage-time goals
Speaking of late drama, three of the last four league meetings between us and Bournemouth have seen goals scored in the 90th minute or later, two of which have been winners - Nathan Aké for Bournemouth in May, 2019, and Rodrigo’s finish in the reverse fixture this term.
4 - Winning streak in N17
Our 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion last time out made it five league victories on the bounce in N17 - we have earned more home points than any other side in the competition since the start of February. Against the Cherries, we have a 100 per cent record at home, winning each time we have hosted them in the top flight.
5 - Record against promoted sides
We have won 10 of our last 11 league games against promoted sides, including all five so far this season (3-2 vs Bournemouth, 2-1 & 1-0 vs Fulham and 2-0 & 3-1 vs Nottingham Forest). At home, we have lost just once in 32 such games (W29 D2), since a 3-1 loss against Wolverhampton Wanderers in December, 2018.
6 - Kane leads the way with goals in different games
Manchester City’s Erling Haaland might be leading the Premier League Golden Boot race on 30 goals, but Harry Kane (23 league goals) tops the chart when it comes to goals scored in different league games. Harry has found the target in 20 different matches - Haaland is two behind - which is his greatest return in that field to date.
7 - Cherries chasing back-to-back away wins
After winning 1-0 at Leicester City last time out, Gary O’Neil’s side have alternated between defeat (three) and victory (three) in their last six league games – including a narrow 3-2 loss against Arsenal and a 1-0 home win over Liverpool. The Cherries are looking to win back-to-back away top-flight games for the first time since October, 2018.
8 - The Cherries’ sour record in London
Bournemouth have won only one of their last 13 Premier League away games in the capital (D1 L11), with them losing each of their previous four trips (2-3 vs Arsenal, 0-2 vs Brentford, 0-2 vs Chelsea and 0-2 vs West Ham United).
9 - Beware Billing
Philip Billing’s seven league goals have been worth nine points to his side this term – only Josh King in 2016/17 (12) has earned the Cherries more points from goals in a single campaign.
