Robert Vilahamn has no fresh injury concerns ahead of our first home Women’s Super League game of the season against Bristol City on Sunday (2pm UK at Brisbane Road).
The squad came through last weekend’s opening game at Chelsea unscathed, with our Head Coach telling the media at his pre-match press conference: “We’ve had a complete week of training, a lot of players on the pitch, there’s no new injuries or anything and it’s a sharp group of players who want to play on Sunday. It’s hard to pick players but it’s a really nice environment.”
New loan signing Zhang Linyan is set to report in to the Club for the first time this weekend following the conclusion of the Asian Games.
Captain Bethany England (hip) remains sidelined while long-term absentees Ellie Brazil and Ramona Petzelberger are not yet ready to play.
