Sheffield United are without a win in their four matches so far on their return to the Premier League - but that far from tells the story. Their three defeats have all been by the odd goal, and two - Forest and Manchester City - were agonising losses in the final minutes as Chris Wood struck for Forest on 89 minutes and Rodri for City on 88. Last time out, United came from 1-0 down for a 2-2 draw against Everton at Bramall Lane.

Players to watch

Cameron Archer put in a Man of the Match display in the 2-2 draw against Everton, scoring once and then having the shot that cannoned back off the post, hit goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and bounced home. Oli McBurnie, always a handful, was then denied by Pickford in the 99th minute. George Baldock and Yasser Larouci are the wide men in Paul Heckingbottom's 3-5-2 system with Oliver Norwood covering the central areas.

Manager - Paul Heckingbottom

An experienced player who racked up over 500 appearances for the likes of Darlington, Barnsley and Bradford City, Paul Heckingbottom managed Barnsley, Leeds and Hibernian before arriving at Bramall Lane in November, 2021. Fifth in the Championship in 2021/22, where they lost to Forest in the play-offs, Heckingbottom led The Blades back to the Premier League via automatic promotion in second place, 10 points behind champions Burnley, but 11 clear of Luton in third.

Last time we met

One to forget for us last season as we travelled to Bramall Lane in the fifth round of the FA Cup on 1 March. We edged a close game in the first half but failed to really trouble the home side, Richarlison just over with our best chance. Paul Heckingbottom made changes in the second half and you could feel momentum change on and off the pitch. United were rewarded on 79 minutes when Iliman Ndiaye fired home the winner. Harry Kane headed wide late on and it wasn't to be on a typically tough night in Yorkshire.
