Bizet and England up for WSL Goal of the Month Award

Spurs Women duo Celin Bizet and Bethany England have both been nominated for the Barclays WSL Goal of the Month Award for March.
Bizet’s was a well-worked team goal that gave us the lead at Manchester City’s Academy Stadium. After Angharad James switched the play out left to Ashleigh Neville, she drove forward and put the ball into space for Rosella Ayane to cross into the box first-time. The delivery evaded all of City’s defence and Bizet was on hand at the far post to cushion the ball into the roof of the net.
England took matters into her own hands with the winning goal against Leicester City, smashing a swerving long-distance strike into the top right corner to secure three important points at Brisbane Road.
The other nominees for the award are Reading’s Rachel Rowe (v Manchester United), Chelsea’s Sam Kerr (v Manchester United), Aston Villa’s Rachel Daly (v West Ham United), Arsenal’s Caitlin Foord (v Spurs), and Manchester City’s Lauren Hemp (v Chelsea).
