Four players nominated for EA SPORTS FIFA Premier League Team of the Season 2022/23

Harry Kane, Rodrigo Bentancur, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Cristian Romero have all been nominated for the EA SPORTS FIFA Premier League Team of the Season for 2022/23.
A team built up of the best performers from the Premier League this campaign, Harry, Rodrigo, Pierre and Cristian are four of 40 top flight players to be shortlisted for the digital team.
Our number 10, Harry, has been enjoying one of his best season's to date in the Premier League with 23 goals to his name in just 31 appearances. Those goals have helped him break our Club goalscoring record as he hit his 267th for the Club in February (now 273) while, in the same moment, he became only the third player to score 200 goals in the Premier League (now 206). He also became England's all-time top goalscorer with his 54th for the Three Lions in March.
Despite his season sadly ending early through injury as he suffered and anterior cruciate ligament injury in February, Rodrigo had been one of shining lights this term. A signing from Juventus in January, 2022, 'Lolo' enjoyed a fine start to life in N17 as we secured qualification for the 2022/23 Champions League before he found another gear as we moved into this campaign, especially in terms of goals - he has found the target five times this year, more than he has in any season before.
He has also formed a superb partnership with Pierre, who has also enjoyed a fine season at the heart of midfield himself. Consistent and constant, the Dane has been something of a metronome for us while he has also increased his attacking output, contributing to 11 goals in all competitions so far for us this campaign - it is the first time he has ever returned such numbers in his professional career.
Finally, Cristian, committed and passionate in his approach to the game, achieved the pinnacle of a footballer's career back in December as he helped his nation Argentina to lift the FIFA World Cup. He has also contributed to seven of our nine clean sheets so far this campaign.
