Sonny wins April’s Goal of the Month

Heung-Min Son has won the fans’ vote for April’s Goal of the Month - claiming a GOTM hat-trick in the process!

With all three of his hat-trick goals at Villa on the shortlist, which one edged the vote? In the end, Sonny’s second goal, racing onto Harry Kane’s clever flicked header assist before burying one-on-one past Emiliano Martinez, just took the honours from his third goal, a sweeping move from back to front finished clinically by the South Korean - the voting 26.8% to 25.9%.

Dejan Kulusevski’s drive to put us 2-0 up at Villa came home third, just behind on 23.7%.

This was Sonny's fourth GOTM of the season and his third on the trot - August, February, March and now April.
