Team news ahead of Brighton - three players remain sidelined

Tue 15 March 2022, 13:44|Tottenham Hotspur

Antonio Conte says there’s no change on the injury front as we head to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Wednesday (kick-off 7.30pm UK).

That means Oliver Skipp (groin), Japhet Tanganga (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (muscular injury) all remain sidelined.

“No news – the same players are available for the game against Brighton, the same players that were available against United,” he said.

Antonio was asked further about midfielder Skippy, who has been sidelined since the 2-0 league defeat at Chelsea on 23 January, in his press conference.

“For sure, he’s a player that we need,” he said. “I think for the player in this moment, it’s really frustrating. He’s very young, he has a lot of energy, he’s a really good guy and to be injured, for him, I’m especially disappointed and frustrated for him and for this situation.”
