Summer of Spurs

• Free activities to be delivered throughout the month of August at N17 Arena – located on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium campus
• Young people of all ages and abilities to be able to take part in football and multi-sports sessions alongside Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Global Football Development coaches, plus music and performing arts workshops
• Special guest appearances, performances and giveaways to take place throughout the month
• Summer of Spurs aims to keep young people in the Tottenham area engaged in positive activity during the school holidays, promoting health and wellbeing and reducing crime and anti-social behaviour

During the day (11am-5pm), young people will be able to come along and enjoy a range of sports, including football, basketball and NFL flag football, plus music and performing arts workshops.

Then, in the evening (5-9pm), coaches from the Club’s Global Football Development team will be delivering technical player development sessions with the opportunity for those taking part to access the Club’s talent ID and coaching excellence pathways.

Throughout the Summer of Spurs, there will be special guest appearances from Men’s and Women’s First Team players, Club Ambassadors, Academy players and more, plus merchandise giveaways.

This is in addition to the regular timetabled community delivery the Club has running throughout the Tottenham area on a daily basis, including Men’s and Women’s Walking Football, Shape Up With Spurs fitness sessions and its estates-based Kicks football programme.

Summer of Spurs aims to keep young people in the Tottenham area engaged in positive activity during the school holidays, promoting health and wellbeing and reducing levels of crime and anti-social behaviour in the process.

Donna-Maria Cullen, Executive Director, Tottenham Hotspur and Trustee, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, said: “The Club takes its responsibility to ensure that young people within our neighbourhood, regardless of age or ability, are able to take part in free, organised sporting activity during the school summer holidays.

“This is crucial not only for the health and wellbeing of our local young people but also in addressing social issues on our doorstep, particularly youth violence. We want to bring the kids off the streets and involve them in great activities.

“There will be something for everyone to enjoy during the Summer of Spurs and we look forward to seeing our community come together in the most positive way throughout the month of August.”

The Summer of Spurs will culminate during the final week of August with two back-to-back family fun days on N17 Arena - Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 August - celebrating the diversity of culture that exists in Tottenham with international music, performers and street food.

To participate in the activities, local people are advised to register online or email thf.activities@tottenhamhotspur.com for further information.
