Local families from across Tottenham and beyond enjoyed some Easter fun in the sunshine this afternoon at the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s free Family Fun Day.
Making the most of the warm weather, hundreds of local residents packed out the N17 Arena to take part in a range of exciting activities including Easter egg hunts, face painting and inflatable football darts.
Located on the south-east of the Stadium campus, on the corner of Park Lane and Worcester Avenue, N17 Arena consists of two first-class, floodlit mini pitches on which activities have been delivered for the local community throughout the Easter holidays.
Over the past fortnight a range of activity has taken place to help families stay fit and active during the Easter period, with hundreds of local people making the most of the free sessions on offer.
Last week, following his man of the match performance against Newcastle United, Cristian Romero joined over 50 children for a multi-sports session, taking part in a series of sporting skills, drills, and tactics.
Spurs Women’s star Jessica Naz also surprised residents taking part in a free family fitness session by presenting them with tickets to our Women’s team’s final game of the season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later in May.
The Foundation has also run a series of Kicks sessions throughout the week, an ongoing programme that has helped thousands of young people through weekly football and educational workshops.
A range of other activity has taken place too, including women’s walking football groups and multi-sports sessions for a variety of fitness levels.
