Academy fixtures update

Our Under-18s are set to begin their Under-18 Premier League Cup campaign away to Leeds United this Saturday (18 September).

The competition returns after a year’s hiatus owing to the pandemic – the Under-18 and Under-16 versions were combined into an Under-17 tournament last term – and begins with the group stage, where participating clubs are placed into one of seven four-team groups.

We’re in Group B with Leeds, Stoke City and Fulham – each team will play each other once, either at home or away, with all group winners and the best-performing runner-up from the seven groups advancing to the knockout stage.

Our fixtures will take place as follows…

Sat 18 Sep – Leeds United (A) – 2pm – Thorp Arch Training Ground
Sat 16 Oct – Stoke City (H) – 1.30pm – Hotspur Way
Sat 27 Nov – Fulham (A) – 11am – Motspur Park

As a result of the scheduling of these matches, our Under-18 Premier League fixture at home to Norwich City will now take place on Saturday 23 October, kick-off 11.30am.

In addition, our Under-18 Premier League fixture away to Leicester City on Saturday 19 February, 2022, will now kick-off at 12pm.

Meanwhile, our Under-23s’ home fixture against Manchester United in the Premier League 2 has been brought forward from its original date of Monday 1 November and will now take place on Saturday 30 October, kick-off 12pm at Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium. Our men’s first team will host United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later that day (kick-off 5.30pm).
