Sergio joins local school for half-term football camp

Local children were given a surprise yesterday (Monday 25 October) when Sergio Reguilon came along to participate in a half-term football camp held near our north London training base, Hotspur Way.

Hosted at St Andrew’s Primary School in Enfield on behalf of Kumho Tyre, the Club’s Official Tyre Partner, 23 children were joined by our Spanish left-back as they took part in a series of football games, skills, and drills.

The session focussed on keeping budding footballers physically active during half-term whilst also giving them the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

After the physical session, the students had the opportunity to ask Sergio some questions of their own including how he stays fit and what his favourite subject was at school.

Speaking after the session, Sergio said: “It was great to join the children at their half-term holiday football camp. During school holidays, it is still really important to stay fit and active and it was nice to see so many young promising footballers. Being able to visit local community projects is really rewarding and I hope they enjoyed the session.”

One of the participants commented: “Having Sergio come down to the session was really exciting. I’m a big Spurs fan so it was amazing that I got to play with one of my favourite players. I can’t wait to go back to school next week and tell all of my friends.”
