Ben Davies is the only player sidelined for our trip to Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday (12.30pm).

The Welsh defender has been out since 21 March with a calf problem. “He’s the only player who hasn’t trained this week,” reported Interim Head Coach Ryan Mason ahead of training on Friday.

Asked if he’d be back before the end of the season, Ryan added: “We hope so. It’s just a case of day by day. There is improvement, it's just how quickly it improves. He’s doing all he can to get back out there.”

Ryan also told us that Lucas Moura and Tanguy Ndombele had trained fully this week after both players had fitness issues leading up to Sunday’s fine 4-0 win against Sheffield United, where both were on the bench.

He explained: “Lucas took a knock in the Carabao Cup Final and it needed a few days to settle down, Tanguy had a muscle problem, and they only trained the day before the (Sheffield United) game. They’ve trained fully this week. We’ve worked hard and we’re prepared for this match.”
