200 up for Dier in the Premier League

Mon 10 May 2021, 16:06|Tottenham Hotspur

Eric Dier became the 15th player to make 200-plus appearances for us in the Premier League when he stepped out against Leeds United on Saturday.

The defender, who joined us from Sporting Lisbon in July, 2014, started his 26th game in the Premier League this season at Elland Road, and 36th in all competitions. He hit the 250 mark in all competitions at Palace back in December, and he now has 277 appearances for the Club.

Eric, 27, is one of three players in the current squad to reach the 200-appearance milestone in the Premier League, alongside Hugo Lloris (295 in the Premier League/370 all competitions) and Harry Kane (239 in the Premier League/333 all competitions). Heung-Min Son (194) is just below the double century.

Darren Anderton remains top of the list with 299 appearances in the Premier League between 1992-2004.
