Under-18s fixtures update

Our Under-18 Premier League fixtures at home to Norwich City and West Ham United have been moved to new dates later in the season.

We’ll now play Norwich City on Tuesday 4 May, kick-off 12noon at Hotspur Way.

The West Ham fixture will now take place on Tuesday 20 April, kick-off 12noon at Hotspur Way.

Both matches were due to have taken place next week, but have been rescheduled as a result of Norwich and West Ham playing each other in the FA Youth Cup, which has now restarted after temporarily being suspended in January due to the pandemic.

AFC Wimbledon are due to host Burnley in the third round of that competition this Thursday (18 March) – we will then visit the winners in the fourth round on a date to be confirmed.

Elsewhere, our involvement in this season’s Under-17 Premier League Cup has now concluded following the outcome of matches elsewhere in the competition. As previously reported, we beat Leicester City and Arsenal while losing to Norwich City in our three group matches, but that wasn’t enough for us to progress to the quarter-finals.

The tournament was introduced this season as an amalgamation of the previous Under-18 and Under-16 incarnations of the competition during the COVID-19 period.
