Hugo Lloris celebrated cap number 125 for France with a clean sheet and 3-0 win against Bulgaria in Paris on Tuesday evening.
Captain for club and country, the goalkeeper is only the second player to reach the 125 milestone for Les Bleus, following record cap Lilian Thuram, who went on to play 142 times for his country.
Moussa Sissoko came off the bench for his 69th cap in France's final preparation friendly before their Euro 2020 opener against Germany next Tuesday, 15 June. Goals from Antoine Griezmann and Olivier Giroud (2) saw them home in front of 5,000 fans at the Stade de France.
Matt Doherty and Troy Parrott both started as the Republic of Ireland picked up a creditable goalless draw in a friendly against a Hungary side preparing to face holders Portugal, world champions France and Germany in Group F of Euro 2020. Matt played a full shift on his 20th cap while young striker Troy was substituted on 56 minutes in Budapest, his sixth cap.
Earning his 24th cap, Gio started as Argentina flew into a 2-0 lead within 10 minutes but Davinson's Colombia fought back for a final score of 2-2 thanks to an injury time goal from Miguel Borja. Gio was substituted on 55 minutes, Davinson completed a full shift in his 34th cap.
Brazil top South American qualifying with six wins out of six. Argentina are second, six points behind, while Colombia are now fifth. The top four qualify automatically for Qatar, with the fifth-placed team entering a play-off to reach the finals.
