Tue 08 September 2020, 22:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Toby Alderweireld notched up a century of caps as Belgium powered to a 5-1 victory over Iceland in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday evening.

First capped in 2009, Toby, now 31, wore the captain's armband as the Red Devils came from 1-0 down to win 5-1 and top Group B with two wins out of two.

England are second in Group B after a goalless draw in Denmark. Harry Kane captained the Three Lions and earned his 47th cap, while Eric Dier picked up cap number 42. Both started, both played 90 minutes and Harry came closest to breaking the deadlock late on in Copenhagen when he skipped around Kasper Schmeichel and rolled the ball towards the empty net, only for Mathias Jorgensen to clear off the line.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg entered the fray for Denmark on 73 minutes, his 35th cap.

Hugo Lloris captained France and earned his 116th cap and Moussa Sissoko (63 caps) completed the 90 minutes as Les Bleus beat Croatia 4-2 in Paris. France and Portugal top Group C.

Staying with the UEFA Nations League, Steven Bergwijn (11 caps) came off the bench on 57 minutes as Holland were beaten by a late Italy goal in Group A on Monday night. Italy now top the group by a point from the Dutch.

In Under-21 action, Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon both started as England beat Austria 2-1 in UEFA U21 Championship qualifying in Ried im Innkreis. Skippy, on loan at Norwich, played 80 minutes while Ryan played 68. England have won six out of six in qualifying.
