Heung-Min Son has won our first Goal of the Month vote for 2020/21.

Sonny's first goal of his famous four in the 5-2 win against Southampton in the Premier League back on 20 September took the honours with 55 per cent of our supporters' votes.

It was a crucial strike as well. Trailing 1-0 just before half-time, Tanguy Ndombele did brilliantly to spin away from two challenges on half-way before finding Harry Kane on the left. Harry played a perfect first-time pass into Sonny's path, and the South Korean star raced into the area before firing across Alex McCarthy from the right angle.

A little slice of history was made that day as Harry provided all four assists for Sonny's quartet of goals - the first time that has happened in the Premier League - and Sonny's fourth at St Mary's came home second in September's GOTM poll, with 24 per cent of the vote. Erik Lamela's late leveller against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup was third.

Thanks to everyone who entered, and congratulations to Daniel Kim from Georgia, who is the randomly-chosen winner of a squad-signed Tottenham Hotspur shirt.

Look out for October's GOTM vote at the end of the month - we've already 13 goals to choose from!
