Tottenham HotspurWe were sorry to hear of the recent passing of our former official club photographer Mick Eason.
Mick, who lived in Ware, was 77. He worked for us in the 1980s and continued to freelance for the national media until his retirement five years ago.
Spurs Historian John Fennelly, who originally appointed him to the job, recalls that Mick was both talented and reliable.
“He was an excellent snapper of the old school in the days when we worked with prints and slides,” recalled John. “Mick was quiet and unassuming with a ready grin and the results he produced were always top class. I often come across his excellent work in our archive.”
We extend our condolences to Mick’s family and friends at this sad time.
