Spurs v Brighton – how to watch, team news, key information

Sun 01 November 2020, 09:15|Tottenham Hotspur

We return home tonight after back-to-back away games for a Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Kick-off is at 7.15pm UK as we look to keep up our 100 per cent record against the Seagulls at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Here’s a run-down of all the key information you need to know...

How can I watch the game?

Tonight’s match is available to purchase on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK, kick-off 7.15pm. Live radio commentary is available on BBC Radio 5 Live. You can find full worldwide broadcast listings here.

Remember, you can also follow the action via our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, with live text and audio commentary, goal alerts and stats at your fingertips.

Plus, don’t forget to tune in to N17 Live, our exclusive pre- and post-match show from inside the stadium for all the live build-up and reaction as it happens. Available to watch for free online, across social media and on the Spurs Official app from 45 minutes before the game starts (6.30pm UK), tonight sees singer-songwriter and Spurs fan Michael Kiwanuka join host Ben Haines in the studio. Also, watch out for highlights of a video call with Joe Hart, Gary Mabbutt and members of Armed Forces Spurs as we mark this period of Remembrance.

How will the teams line up?

Tanguy Ndombele and Eric Dier could come back into the fold after remaining in London for Thursday’s Europa League defeat to Royal Antwerp in Belgium, Dier having returned from injury in the 1-0 win at Burnley last Monday.

Jose Mourinho hinted that he will make changes in the wake of the defeat in Antwerp.

Brighton are without captain Lewis Dunk, who is suspended, while forward Alireza Jahanbakhsh is out with a hamstring problem.

Spurs Remembers

The Club will be paying its respects to those that have made the ultimate sacrifice in armed conflict ahead of tonight's match. A minute’s silence will be observed prior to kick-off, during which the Last Post will be played live from within the stadium by Corporal (Retired RAF) Andrew John Lofthouse, former Principal Trumpet of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.

The players will wear shirts emblazoned with the Poppy, both tonight and for next weekend’s visit to West Bromwich Albion.

Plus, tonight's official matchday programme features a commemorative Remembrance-themed front cover, along with an exclusive interview with Hugo Lloris and much more. Printed copies are available to order now for delivery direct to your door.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Graham Scott takes charge of this evening’s match, assisted by Simon Long and Timothy Wood.

Simon Hooper will be the fourth official.

Both sides will wear a Poppy on their shirts tonight to mark the Remembrance period. We’ll be in our usual home kit, with our goalkeeper in all orange, while Brighton will be in royal blue shirts featuring white pinstripes on the front, white shorts and royal blue socks. Their keeper will be in green.

What will the weather be like?

It’s set to be an overcast day in north London, with temperatures settled at around 17 degrees for the game itself.
