Home draw in FA Youth Cup

Fri 13 November 2020, 19:22|Tottenham Hotspur

Our Under-18s have been drawn at home to either Newport County or Brockenhurst in the third round of this season’s FA Youth Cup.

Details on the scheduling of the fixture will be provided in due course.

Youth teams from the Premier League and Championship enter the competition at the third round stage.

In other news, our youngsters are this season competing in the new Under-17 Premier League Cup, which has been brought in as an amalgamation of the previous Under-18 and Under-16 incarnations of the competition during the COVID-19 period.

The 2020/21 tournament features seven groups of four teams, with clubs playing each other once, at home or away. The group winners and the best runner-up will advance to the quarter-finals.

We began the competition with a 1-0 home win over Leicester City on Wednesday, Eddie Carrington scoring the winner from the penalty spot.

Norwich City and Arsenal are also in our group – we’ll face them later in the season.
