For the second time already this year, Norwich City will be the visitors to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as we take on the Canaries in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday night (7.45pm kick-off).

In January, we were victorious in the Norfolk side’s last trip to N17, securing a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son, either side of Teemu Pukki’s equaliser.

Team news

Norwich boss Daniel Farke has confirmed that midfielder Alexander Tettey and leading goalscorer Pukki are doubts for his side through illness ahead of the clash on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, defenders Christoph Zimmermann (hamstring), Sam Byram (hamstring) and Timm Klose (knee) as well as winger Onel Hernandez (knee) all remain sidelined through injury.

Norwich’s form

The Canaries got back to winning ways in their last outing as they toppled high-flying Leicester City at Carrow Road on Friday night with a 1-0 win. Prior to that, the Norfolk-based outfit had won just once in their last 14 games.

Norwich’s FA Cup run so far

Entering the competition in the third round, Norwich stormed past Championship side Preston North End with a 4-2 win. That triumph earned them a fourth-round tie with fellow Premier League outfit Burnley, a test which they once again overcame as they earned a 2-1 victory to book their place in the fifth round.

One to watch

Ondrej Duda has been a bright spark for Norwich since arriving in Norfolk during the winter transfer window. Joining on loan from Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin, the attacking midfielder has increased the energy levels in the Canaries' side with his tiresome work rate and has slotted with ease into the intense nature of the Premier League. With a creative spark, the Slovakian international usually operates in the number 10 role, just behind forward Pukki. He has played in each of his side’s seven games since his arrival.

Played for both

A key player for us between 2009 and 2011, Peter Crouch scored 24 times in 93 appearances having turned out for Norwich on loan earlier in his career. A product of our youth system but unable to break through into our first team, the forward departed north London in 2000 to join Queens Park Rangers. Stints followed at Portsmouth, Aston Villa, Southampton and Liverpool – with a brief loan spell at Norwich from Villa in 2003, where he scored four times in 15 games – before he rejoined us in 2009.

In his time at White Hart Lane, Crouchy became a cult hero - his goals not just memorable, but also vital. His header against Manchester City in our Premier League clash at the Etihad in May, 2010, was the goal that secured our qualification for the following season's Champions League. He then hit a hat-trick in our play-off clash with Swiss side Young Boys to put us into the group stage. Crouchy was subsequently on target against Werder Bremen – our first goal of the group stage – before scoring against then-reigning European champions Internazionale in a 3-1 win at the Lane. Then, in the round of 16, he scored the only goal of the tie as we defeated AC Milan 1-0 on aggregate.

He left us in 2011 for Stoke City and later appeared briefly for Burnley before retiring last summer. For England, he had a sublime strike rate of 22 goals in 42 caps.
