Club joins iconic venues across the nation in support of our NHS

Thu 26 March 2020, 20:05|Tottenham Hotspur

The Club has tonight proudly illuminated its stadium in blue colours as part of a nationwide show of support for our wonderful NHS.

At 8pm, people across the country joined in a mass round of applause for those that are currently on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the #ClapForOurCarers campaign.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium joined iconic buildings across the UK in being illuminated in NHS blue, with The O2, Wembley Stadium and the Royal Albert Hall also amongst those taking part in the #LightItBlue initiative as a further show of appreciation.

It follows previous occasions on which the Club has illuminated London’s newest landmark for good causes, including ‘Wear it pink’ for breast cancer awareness and Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign.

The campaign is now continuing online with people being asked to show their support for the NHS on social media at home by either wearing or creating something blue.

We’re encouraging fans to get involved in the campaign by posting their photos and videos to social media using the hashtag #MakeItBlue and tagging in @SpursOfficial.

Thank you for your support.
