Steven Bergwign’s debut goal against Manchester City is in the running for the Premier League’s Budweiser Goal of the Month award for February.
A January signing from PSV, the attacker connected with Lucas Moura’s deft chip into the box with a superb volley to set us on our way to a 2-0 home win over the reigning Premier League champions on 2 February.
The sumptuous strike has already been chosen by fans as our Goal of the Month – and it's now been shortlisted for the Premier League equivalent.
Everton's Richarlison, Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso, Enda Stevens of Sheffield United, Matej Vydra of Burnley, the Manchester United duo of Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, plus Norwich City’s Jamal Lewis are also vying for the award.
