Jose Mourinho indicated that new signing Steven Bergwijn could make his debut against Manchester City on Sunday (4.30pm).

The Dutch flyer joined us from PSV earlier this week and looks set to go straight into the squad for the high-profile Premier League clash at the new stadium.

Asked in his pre-match press conference if Steven could feature, Jose responded: "Yes, I think so. We have four attacking players - Son, Lucas, Lamela and Steven - so he has to be involved. I would like to give him more time, probably the perfect situation would be to come (in) after the winter break, but that's not possible.

"It's not a drama because he's played with PSV, so he has match fitness, it's just a question of learning how to play with us, but I don't think it would be a problem for him to play some minutes."

Meanwhile, Ben Davies (ankle), Harry Kane (hamstring) and Moussa Sissoko (knee) all remain unavailable as they they continue to undergo their rehabilitation.
