Spurs v Royal Antwerp – how to watch, team news, key information

Thu 10 December 2020, 15:30|Tottenham Hotspur

We host Belgian side Royal Antwerp on Thursday evening in the last of our six group stage games in the UEFA Europa League.

With both sides already through to the round of 32, whoever wins at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will top the pile in Group J.

Antwerp are currently in pole position with 12 points, two points ahead of us, meaning only a win for us would see us jump to the summit.

Here’s all the key information you need to know ahead of the match, which kicks-off at 8pm UK time...

How can I watch the game?

BT Sport 2 will be screening the game live on Thursday night, kick-off 8pm UK. Full worldwide broadcast listings are available here.

Those supporters who are attending in person should check out our dedicated web page here for all the latest information and advice on how to safely travel to and enter the stadium.

Remember, our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app is the perfect way to follow the action live, wherever you are in the world, with live text and audio commentary, goal alerts and stats at your fingertips.

Plus, don’t forget to tune in to N17 Live, our exclusive pre-match show from inside the stadium for all the live build-up. Available to watch for free online, across social media and on the Spurs Official app between 6.45pm and 7.15pm, Spurs Women star Alex Morgan and former first team goalkeeper Michel Vorm will be our special guests – make sure you tune in!

How will the teams line up?

Midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is back in the frame for us after missing the north London derby on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho also hinted that Serge Aurier had a problem and that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will be rested for Thursday’s match.

Erik Lamela is “training progressively” having been sidelined through injury since the start of last month.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Thursday’s match officials are from Spain – the referee is Jesús Gil Manzano, assisted by Diego Barbero and Ángel Nevado.

The fourth official will be Guillermo Cuadra Fernandez.

As usual for a European tie, we’ll be in our all-Lilywhite kit, while Royal Antwerp are set to line up in all-red.

The goalkeepers will be in green and yellow for us and Antwerp respectively.

How can I get the matchday programme?

Once again, printed copies of our official matchday programme are available to order and have delivered direct to your door.

Although the deadline to order your copy and have it in your hands in time for kick-off has now passed, you can still order yours online for delivery as soon as possible. Toby Alderweireld speaks about his home city of Antwerp in Thursday night’s edition, priced at the usual £3.50. Order yours in the post now or subscribe so you never miss an issue.

For those supporters who are attending the game as part of the limited-capacity crowd, copies of the matchday programme can be purchased from the Goal Line Bar, our Tap Inns on Level 2 and the Spurs Shop.

What will the weather be like?

It’ll be cloudy and breezy in north London during the day on Thursday, with temperatures settled at around seven degrees throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
