Palace v Spurs – how to watch, team news, key information
Sat 12 December 2020, 11:45|Tottenham Hotspur
We make the trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in our next test this Sunday.
Roy Hodgson’s men, who we drew with on the last day of last season to secure qualification for the Europa League, won 5-1 at West Bromwich Albion last weekend and are 11th in the table on 16 points.
With kick-off set for 2.15pm UK, here’s our usual run-down of all the key information you need to know...
How can I watch the game?
Sunday’s match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event, kick-off 2.15pm in the UK. Live radio commentary is available on BBC Radio 5 Live. You can find full worldwide broadcast listings here.
Remember, you can also follow the action via our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, with live text and audio commentary, goal alerts and stats at your fingertips.
How will the teams line up?
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could return after being rested for Thursday night’s home win over Royal Antwerp in the Europa League.
Jose Mourinho’s latest update on Erik Lamela is that he is “training progressively”, while Serge Aurier will be assessed after missing the Antwerp victory.
Jose hinted prior to Thursday’s game that the right-back had picked up a problem before last weekend’s north London derby, although he managed to complete the full 90 minutes of that match.
As for Palace, Nathan Ferguson, Wayne Hennessey and Connor Wickham are all out long-term, while left-back Tyrick Mitchell is expected to miss out due to illness.
Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?
Kevin Friend has been appointed referee for Sunday’s match.
He’ll be assisted by Simon Beck and Harry Lennard, while Tim Robinson is the designated fourth official.
Palace’s home kit this year is predominantly blue, with thick red stripes down the front of the lower parts of the shirts.
We’ll be in our usual home kit, with Lilywhite shirts, navy shorts and Lilywhite socks.
The goalkeepers will be in light green (Palace) and orange (Spurs).
What will the weather be like?
Rain is forecast for Sunday’s match. It’s set to be cloudy with light showers for most of the day, with temperatures settled at around 10 degrees during the game itself.
