Michael Dawson, Helen Richardson-Walsh on N17 Live for the derby!

Fri 04 December 2020, 17:34|Tottenham Hotspur

It's the big one - and N17 Live has a guest list to match the north London derby billing on Sunday.

Modern-day Spurs legend, former captain and all-round top guy Michael Dawson will be making his first visit to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he'll be joined former hockey star and Olympic gold medallist Helen Richardson-Walsh, who will talk about her love of Spurs and the importance of the Rainbow Laces campaign.

A Spur through and through, Michael joined us from Nottingham Forest in January, 2005 and went on to play 324 times for us until departing for Hull in 2014. In that time, he helped us back into the Champions League in 2010 and proudly captained the team on that famous night when we beat AC Milan in the San Siro. Michael spent four years at Hull before returning to first club Forest in 2018. He's still going strong having just turned 37.

Join 'Daws', Helen and our regular host and lifelong Spurs fan Ben Haines from the earlier time of 3.30pm (UK) as we welcome fans back into the stadium for the first time since March - 3.30pm also perfect timing for breaking team news!

Other highlights - Ben Davies exclusive

Ben Davies has been at Spurs since 2014, so knows all about the highs and lows associated with the north London derby. In our exclusive, Ben, who has captained the team in Europe this season, gives us his thoughts on Sunday's encounter, having fans back in the stadium and fellow Welsh international Joe Rodon's progress.

Dier and Hojbjerg meet Proud Lilywhites

The Club is proud to show its support for Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign and ahead of Sunday’s derby, Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg took part in a virtual Q&A session with Proud Lilywhites members. Look out for highlights of that session on N17 Live.

Competition time

We continue to give fans the opportunity to win top prizes on N17 Live - tune in on Sunday for the chance to win a Nike bundle ahead of Christmas worth £200!
