What a night! 5 May, 2010 - the night we first qualified for the new format of the European Cup - the Champions League - with a dramatic win at Manchester City.

This era-defining match was basically a play-off for fourth place in the Premier League and, therefore, a gateway into Europe's elite competition.

We'd had some near misses - the final day of 2005/06 springs to mind, and another fifth place in 2006/07 - but this was the night that destiny was reached.

It was on a knife edge for 90 minutes but as we all know, the team delivered another ‘glory, glory’ night for the Club’s history books thanks to Peter Crouch’s late header. It is, arguably, our most important win of the Premier League era. Four months later, we were in the group stages of the Champions League for the first time.

Enjoy the highlights below, and, an added bonus, watch again skipper Ledley King and Crouchy’s post-match interview together from just outside the dressing room that night at the Etihad.
