Our 18-82 Q&A series continues today with Spurs Women Spaniard Lucia Leon…

Using the year of the Club’s formation as inspiration, we asked Lucia to choose 18 lifestyle questions to answer from a selection of 82.

1 - What is the first thing you do in the morning?

Lucia: “I check the time and if it’s earlier than 10am, I will go back to sleep, but if it’s past 10, then I'll stay awake.”

2 - How do you relax?

Lucia: “Listening to music.”

3 - What keeps you going through the tough times?

Lucia: “I would definitely say my friends and family.  The fans also help when it comes to the football side of things.”

4 - What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Lucia: “There is a saying ‘Your head is more likely to give up before your body does’. I always think about this phrase to stop myself giving up on something. I’ll always try to push myself as much as possible to accomplish a goal.”

5 - Which emoji do you use the most?

Lucia: “🤣.”

6 - What is your most used WhatsApp group?

Lucia: “The one with all my college friends!”

7 - How do you like your eggs?

Lucia: “I like all types of eggs!”

8 – When are you at your happiest?

Lucia: “When I play football with people I love.”

9 - Are you good at another sport?

Lucia: “Yes, I am good at basketball.”

10 - What is your favourite sandwich?

Lucia: “I would say a ham and cheese toastie.”

11 - What was your first holiday abroad?

Lucia: “Dominican Republic.”

12 - What would you sing at a Karaoke?

Lucia: “Danza Kuduro (Remix).”

13 - Have you ever thought ‘I wish I was somewhere else'?

Lucia: “Yes, every time I was in a test environment, either school or fitness related, I wished I was somewhere else.”

14 - What do you remember about your Spurs debut?

Lucia: “I just remember it was freezing and I ended up being in the starting line-up at the last minute against Lewes. It was Shannon Moloney’s birthday that day and I recall the twins (Rosie and Mollie Kmita) telling us that they were going to move to Brighton to go to university - they were very upset and we all were hugging them. I barely spoke English so didn't know what was going on but gave them both a hug anyway as I could clearly see they were sad!”

15 - What position did you play in your first game?

Lucia: “I played on the wing I remember. I love playing in attack and doing anything I can to help the team succeed.”

16 - Are you still in touch with your school friends?

Lucia: “Yes! I am still in touch with a few of my primary school friends and always try to meet up with them when I go back to Madrid.”

17 - Would you rather be able to go back into the past or see into the future?

Lucia: “The future will always come at some point, the past won’t, so if I could re-visit some moments from my past then I 100 per cent would!”

18 - What are you listening to now?

Lucia: “Mainly Spanish music - Ozuna, Maluma and Bad Bunny.”
