Christian and our 50-plus Premier League goalscorers

Tue 03 September 2019, 13:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Christian Eriksen has become the fifth player to register 50 Premier League goals for the Club.

The Danish playmaker hit his half-century with the opener in Sunday's 2-2 derby draw at Arsenal.

Signed from Ajax in 2013, Christian has leapfrogged Gareth Bale and Chris Armstrong over the course of the past year. Dele and Heung-Min Son are closing in on their 50s with 42 goals each.

Christian's first Premier League goal was a trademark free-kick against West Brom on Boxing Day, 2013.

Harry Kane leads the way on 128 goals in 182 matches after his goal at the Emirates. That made him our joint record goalscorer in the derby. He passed Teddy Sheringham's 98-goal haul in the Premier League at Everton in January, 2018, before becoming the Club's first centurion in the Premier League back on Merseyside at Liverpool on 4 February, 2018.
