Internationals - Kane and Winks strike for England in Kosovo

Sun 17 November 2019, 21:47|Tottenham Hotspur

It was a night to remember for our two Harrys on England duty against Kosovo in Euro 2020 qualifying on Sunday.

Harry Winks scored his first senior international goal in his sixth cap as the Three Lions wrapped up top spot in Group A with a 4-0 victory in Pristina.

Meanwhile, skipper Harry Kane was on target yet again, meaning he's scored in all eight of England's qualifying matches in this campaign. His total of 12 goals means he's currently top scorer in Euro 2020 qualifying.

Kane was involved in the move that led to Winksy's opener in the first half as the midfielder broke from deep to take Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's pass, drive through the home defence and finish on 32 minutes. Kane struck the post before converting England's second from close range in the 79th minute. Marcus Rashford made it 3-0 before Kane provided the assist for Mason Mount as England made it 4-0 in added time. Danny Rose remained on the bench.

Speaking afterwards to ITV Sport, Winksy said: "It's a dream come true to score for my country. It's something I never really thought would happen but to score the first goal was a great moment for me."

Meanwhile, Moussa Sissoko started as France secured top spot in Group H of Euro 2020 qualifying with a 2-0 win against Albania on Sunday evening. Moussa played the full 90, Tanguy Ndombele was an unused substitute.
