Heung-Min Son scored as South Korea toppled Colombia 2-1 in the battle of Spurs team-mates in Seoul on Tuesday.
Sonny came up against Davinson Sanchez and both played a full shift in the friendly at the Olympic Stadium.
Wearing the captain's armband, Sonny was electric in the first half and had already whistled a 30-yarder just over when he fired South Korea ahead from the right angle on 16 minutes. He then struck the inside of post three minutes later.

Luis Fernando Diaz levelled for Colombia in the second half before Jae-Sung Lee won it for the hosts.
Sonny now has 24 goals in 79 caps for South Korea.
Christian Eriksen was involved in a remarkable Euro 2020 qualifier against Switzerland as it ended 3-3 in Basel.
The midfielder had a couple of sights at goal but Switzerland forged into a 3-0 lead by 76 minutes with goals from Remo Freuler, Granit Xhaka and Breel Embolo.
Christian then played a key role in an amazing Danish comeback. He curled in a free-kick headed home by Mathias Jorgensen on 84 minutes, played the key pass as Christian Gytkjaer made it 3-2 on 88 minutes and had a screamer saved by Yan Sommer on 90 minutes before Henrik Dalsgaard completed the turn around for 3-3 in the 93rd minute.
Elsewhere, Kyle Walker-Peters started as England Under-21s lost 2-1 against Germany in a friendly at Bournemouth. Kyle was actually down injured in the box when Felix Uduokhai hit the late winner for Germany.
