Ben Davies helped Wales make a winning start in Euro 2020 qualification on Sunday.
The defender completed the 90 minutes as an early goal from Daniel James secured a 1-0 victory against Slovakia in Group E in Cardiff. Ben created a chance for David Brooks with an overlap and cross in the first half. Slovakia had their moments in the second half but the 2016 semi-finalists held on for an important win.
Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen both played a full shift as Belgium made it two wins in two in Group I with a 2-0 victory against Cyprus in Nicosia. Development Squad winger Anthony Georgiou - currently on loan at Levante in Spain - came off the bench to play the second half for Cyprus.
Also on Sunday, Luis Binks started and Paris Maghoma came off the bench on 55 minutes as England Under-18s beat Mexico 3-2 to finish second in the SportsChain Cup in Dubai.
Serge Aurier and Victor Wanyama completed the qualifying campaign for the 2019 African Cup of Nations on Saturday.
Both captained their respective countries - Ivory Coast and Kenya - and both have qualified for the finals in Egypt in June. Serge's Ivory Coast beat Rwanda 3-0 while Victor's Kenya lost 1-0 in Ghana. The pair will have a date in the diaries for April when the draw for the finals is made.
