Tour 2019 - Global team connect with young coaches in Singapore

Our Global Football Development team kicked-off their busy schedule on tour by delivering a coach education programme to budding coaches in Singapore on Thursday morning local time.

The workshop at the Jalan Besar Stadium was with Football Association of Singapore Youth Development Programme coaches (Under-16-Under-18) as part of our wider relationship with the Singapore FA who are also a partner of AIA, our Global principle partner.

The session saw our coaches Anton Blackwood, Shaun Harris and Aaron Tillbrook provide an insight into the Tottenham Hotspur coaching philosophy and concluded with a Q&A.

Later, Anton, Shaun and Aaron were invited to watch the Singapore Under-22 National side take on Tampines Rovers back at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Anton said: "It was great to start our work on tour alongside the Football Association of Singapore, sharing our coaching philosophy to these enthusiastic young coaches. They enjoyed it and it's always rewarding when coaches soak up all that information. They certainly have a passion to develop young footballers and that's what we're all about."
