Latest on Dele injury from Mauricio

Mauricio Pochettino reported that Dele Alli will be assessed in the next few days after suffering an injury late in our 2-1 win at Fulham.

Dele, who scored our equaliser, clutched the back of his left leg as he chased for the ball with five minutes remaining at Craven Cottage and was replaced by GK Nkoudou. It was still 1-1 at the time. In the final seconds of added time, GK crossed for Harry Winks to head home the winner.

Mauricio confirmed it was a hamstring problem and told us: “Yes, and from the first moment we saw (what happened) on the pitch, we were worried.

“At that moment you don’t think too much because you are focused on the game and of course, you cannot be affected by that emotion. Now, we feel so bad and sorry because he’s an important player for us and we’ll see, we need to assess him in the next few days and hope it’s not a big issue.”
