Heung-Min Son played his part in both of South Korea's goals as they beat China 2-0 to win their group at the 2019 Asian Cup on Wednesday.
Sonny was playing his first minutes since linking up with his national team-mates in the United Arab Emirates following our Premier League defeat to Manchester United at the weekend and was certainly in the mood, as he continued his impressive club form by skippering his team to victory.
With both sides having already qualified for the knockout stages with maximum points from their first two games, the two nations met to determine who would top Group C.
Son showed his class right from the off and when he was upended in the box by Zhi Zheng, striker Ui-Jo Hwang stepped up to give South Korea the advantage from the spot on 14 minutes.
That lead was then doubled six minutes into the second half as Kim Min-Jae headed Son's corner into the roof of the net to seal the win.
The result sends South Korea through to the round of 16, with their opponents still to be confirmed ahead of the tie in Dubai on 22 January.
